Job Description
Cost Accounting Manager
Our team is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for a growing manufacturing company in Montgomery County. As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for working with the business and sites on creating business rules: EOQs, values of products produced (inclusive of hazardous waste disposal costs), order lead times, and Minimum Order Sizes. The Cost Accounting Manager role is contracted for six-plus months!
Responsibilities of Cost Accounting Manager
Overseeing annual physical inventory.
Create BOMs (Bill Of Materials) and Routings
Build/Automate Financial close process, weekly scorecards, and metrics for the business lines and manufacturing sites.
Designing and implementing cost accounting systems.

Requirements
Skills/Qualifications of Cost Accounting Manager
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years' experience in cost accounting
Strong accounting and financial analysis skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
Manufacturing industry experience is required
Experience in SAP B1, SAP ECC, SAP BPC experience is a huge plus
