Comprehend PPG's Applications model and configuration. APD CoE group is managing a bunch of applications that aligns global best practice, drives operational excellence, integrates common business practices and operations which results in outstanding customer service and cost management. A key objective for this position is to understand the business processes provide our customers with high quality, innovative products, which improve their expertise, productivity, and knowledge.
Successful Senior BAs will leverage their desire to evolve and their technical experience to learn and understand the PPG Applications with an emphasis on a specific sector (Supply Chain, Finance or Manufacturing). This foundation allows the BA is to resolve system incidents and issues, create and update documentation, and participate in or conduct workshops and training sessions for colleagues and Key users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Within 30 days, s/he will be able to articulate the APD CoE applications structures,
- Within 90 days, s/he has assimilated and can articulate specific business and system processes assigned to them. S/he is also familiar with the applications incident tracking system,
- Within 6 months, s/he will tackle system issues/tickets and small enhancements with direction from management or a Senior BA. S/he will participate in or conduct workshops or training sessions to bolster the knowledge and understanding of our colleagues,
- Within 12 months, s/he will work independently on system issues/tickets. S/he will take more responsibility for specific components of enhancement requests by applying the knowledge learned over the past year.
Qualifications:
- A 3-year degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related fields,
- Minimum of 6 years' experience as a business analyst within IT organization,
- An outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast-paced environment,
- Finance and/or Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing (TBD) skills,
- Basic IT Technical skills,
- Analytical and conceptual expertise,
- Waterfall and Agile methodology skills.
