Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill an Internal Audit Internship position in Montreal, Quebec.
Job Summary
The Intern, Internal Audit is responsible for assisting in the execution of Internal Audit projects. The role performs audit procedures and data analyses to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business processes and controls. Additional tasks include assisting in the identification of practical audit observations, as well as strengthening and the streamlining existing processes. The Internal Audit team is a group of highly skilled professionals with various accreditations and experiences, including external audit, enterprise risk management, I&T, and fraud examination. The team is focused on providing high value-added audit reports to business stakeholders, Senior Leadership, and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

- Assist in the execution of Internal Audit projects
- Perform audit procedures and data analysis to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business processes
- Perform audit work in accordance with professional standards
- Provide high quality documentation in support of Internal Audit findings
- Evaluate information and provide a preliminary assessment of findings
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and management action plans
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Education
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, I&T or areas related to the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) title
