Payroll - Human Resources - Based in Ipswich
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Office with HR ability to be based in the Ipswich Area.
The purpose of the role is to provide a range of strategic advice and operations support for major projects including time and attendance management, allocating time to relevant projects and ensuring correct interpretations of awards and payment are allocated to rostered shifts to ensure a quality process.
Working closely with Operations Manager to manage a process variable pay, pay changes reporting and reconciliation, deductions queries and special payments and recoveries for projects and worksites.

About your new role:
* Preparation and Processing of Fortnightly payroll
* Time and attendance and leave records on a weekly basis
* Answer all payroll enquiries from staff
* Data entry - accurate
* Administer month end
* Assistance on Award interpretations and EBA's
* Identify improvements in payroll functions
* Ensure maintenance is performed
* Back up for Monthly payroll
* Provide administration support to HR Manager
* Main contact for site for hours of allocation
* Provide assistance with National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act ensuring compliance
* Preparation of cycle payroll, including new employees, payment bonus and costings
The successful person will have the following
* Diploma level qualification or relevant to payroll or accounting
* Experience in payroll, finance & accounting
* Min 2 years' experience in using integrated payroll systems such as ADP, SAP, Talent2, Micropay
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience in working on time and attendance payroll - Kronos, Timezone
* Knowledge of legislation of superannuation and payroll
* Relevant experience in modern awards and EBA's
