Your new firmYou will be working with a leading, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in the heart of Liverpool city centre. The firm offer a range of services to their extensive client base, inclusive of Audit, Accounts, Tax and Bookkeeping and have been doing so for a number of years, earning them the excellent reputation they have developed.
Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior at this firm you will be joining the Accounts and Audit team, working with a portfolio of clients to prepare the bookkeeping and statutory accounts for the clients as well as corporate tax returns. This role will see you develop skills in audit as well, as many of the clients will fall over the audit threshold. The clients are made up of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a variety of sectors including charities, solicitors and manufacturing companies to name but a few.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have at least 18 months experience working within a firm of accountants in a similar role. You should be up to date on the latest tax legislation and be capable of preparing statutory accounts through to manager review. Audit skills are desirable however not essential as these can be developed. This role will see you work closely with both colleagues and clients alike so your communication skills must be excellent.

In return the firm are able to offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package which includes 22 days holiday, a pension, flexitime and study support for your ACA/ACCA. The firm work a 35 hour week- Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 and give 1 hour for lunch.
