A highly established medium sized accountancy firm are looking for an Audit and Accounts senior to join them on a permanent basis.
The key duties of the role are:
Involved with a mixed portfolio of corporate, non-corporate and charity clients, taking responsibility for audit, accounts and related taxation affairs and delivering on wider advisory project work.
70% Audit and 30% Accounts Preparation - be confident in all aspects of audit and client accounts preparation assignments including advice on corporation tax and VAT.
The ideal candidate will:
An Accountant with professional auditing experience working with an accounting practice in the United Kingdom.
Ideally, have ACA or ACCA qualifications, but would not rule out candidates who are part-qualified and have relevant experience.
Have experience of working on accounts preparation assignments and involvement with statutory audits from planning and preparation through to completion, and presenting completed accounts, computations and working paper files. Experience of paperless working would be an advantage.
