About the role:
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for assisting in all aspects of financial support for the site including; planning, internal reporting and financial analysis and management of the site's finance staff

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan for both Infection Prevention and Pathology businesses.
  • Report monthly results to Global Operations and Divisional Leadership.
  • Oversees the monthly/quarterly close related activities, including journal entry review and Balance Sheet and P&L reviews.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to the management team from strong business results
  • Facilitate in conjunction with management & the company's various business units & departments the budget & forecasting process.
  • Analyzes and understand main drivers of pricing and cost/margin changes within the site and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the strategic planning for the division.
  • Own and enhance the control environment and VIP program for the site.
  • Manage a small team in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, projects/programs and/or operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements), and make sure proper controls are established and maintained.


What we're looking for in you:
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline.
  • Seven or more (7+) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing/operations.
  • Strong financial or forecasting analysis experience.
  • Proven ability to interact with Senior Leadership Teams.
  • Must be proactive and tolerant to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must be skilled in business software such as Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in market research, capacity and demand planning.
  • Experience in Medical Devices and/or Healthcare preferred.
