About the role:
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for assisting in all aspects of financial support for the site including; planning, internal reporting and financial analysis and management of the site's finance staff
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan for both Infection Prevention and Pathology businesses.
- Report monthly results to Global Operations and Divisional Leadership.
- Oversees the monthly/quarterly close related activities, including journal entry review and Balance Sheet and P&L reviews.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to the management team from strong business results
- Facilitate in conjunction with management & the company's various business units & departments the budget & forecasting process.
- Analyzes and understand main drivers of pricing and cost/margin changes within the site and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the strategic planning for the division.
- Own and enhance the control environment and VIP program for the site.
- Manage a small team in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports drive those practices throughout their organization.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, projects/programs and/or operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements), and make sure proper controls are established and maintained.
What we're looking for in you:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline.
- Seven or more (7+) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in manufacturing/operations.
- Strong financial or forecasting analysis experience.
- Proven ability to interact with Senior Leadership Teams.
- Must be proactive and tolerant to a rapidly changing environment.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be skilled in business software such as Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Experience in market research, capacity and demand planning.
- Experience in Medical Devices and/or Healthcare preferred.
