My client, one of the best CPA firms to work for in NJ, is looking for an Accountant.
Qualifications: A Bachelor degree in accounting or finance plus a minimum of 3 years of job experience, preferably in the construction industry. Experience with union payroll is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries
Document all financial transactions
Maintain bank account balances, manage credit lines and reconcile bank statements
Prepares balance sheets, P&L statements and all monthly reports and year end close
Issue 1099s
Interface with auditors and assist with financial statements
Complete prequalification forms
Tax filings
Insurance, Union and WC audits
Computing and remitting taxes
Weekly union and management payrolls
401k reporting
Generate monthly cost and utilization reports
