We are looking for an IT BA with experience in implementing EDI projects for a 12 month contract, which may be extended depending on project durations and demand.

In this dynamic operational environment, you will drive an EDI program to drive down cost, improve customer experience, and drive business efficiencies. Working closely with the business and IT teams to partner on defining requirements, and implementing EDI with our trading partners, the role will work with the internal/external technical teams to understand current processes and interfaces, and document them in process maps.

The role will enable you to develop critical skills in execution management, process improvement, product development, stakeholder management, and vendor management

Key Responsibility:
  • Identify and understand business requirements for EDI & IT projects and support the business to translate those into instructions to the relevant IT team.
  • Drive a high level of EDI-readiness across all trading partners within ANZ.
  • Play an active role in onboarding vendors from discussing EDI SLA requirements to implementing the technical EDI solution.
  • Improve trading efficiencies by coordinating root cause analysis and implementing improvements on failed or delayed EDI messaging.
  • Writing functional specifications where systems enhancement is required for interfaces etc.
  • Prepare and maintain test data and perform tests on all EDI maps and prepare all required documentation and document all failed translation processes.
  • Participate in all system tests and analyze all data and processes and recommend improvements, manage all communication with individuals and internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance to all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge on working of all EDI protocols and map all data for various ERP systems and applications and perform audit on all EDI processes to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate with EDI trading partners to resolve all production issues and perform transaction tests and resolve all EDI issues according to specification and maintain all transaction sets appropriately.
  • Prepare all documents according to required guidelines and manage all communication with customers and assist to develop all EDI applications.
  • Evaluate all business processes and monitor transactions to resolve all lost transactions and perform tests on EDI maps.


Requirements

  • Minimum least 5 years in EDI IT Digitization experience, a good technical understanding of EDI, and have a proven track record and experience in implementing EDI Projects.
  • Has an affinity with systems and processes, strong analytical skills, is detail-oriented and result-driven, is meticulous in following up to deliver on all project deadlines, and can work individually.
  • Thrives in an energetic and dynamic environment and can successfully drive our EDI agenda in this context.
  • Can build relationships with key internal / external stakeholders, improve the experience delivered to our customers, and optimize our processes for future success.
  • Is an effective communicator, capable of translating EDI language into layman terms for the business, and capable of translating business requirements into technical IT requirements.
  • Can communicate with different levels of the organization and has strong stakeholder management skills
  • Has impeccable verbal and written English.
  • Has M2O and O2C process domain knowledge.
