Purpose of Job
  • You will be part of the finance team to prepare the financial accounts for statutory reporting and decision-making.


Duties
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including the review of journals posted, standard audit schedules and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare Agency and Group financial statements for annual statutory audit.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for finance transformation and digitalisation.
  • Perform business partnering role by engaging Divisions when Divisions work out new projects/ funding proposals to take into consideration financial planning considerations.
  • Any other duties and ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.


Other Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and Good data visualization skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to articulate clearly both written and verbal; either on one-to-one or in group presentation
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Meticulous and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Knowledge in SAP system is an advantage
  • A good team player and also able to work independently
  • Audit work experience will have an added advantage
