Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure a seamless operation's delivery platform for the Treasury Businesses, through timely and zero-defect transaction processing in the Unit
  • Settlements for each derivative and Customer foreign exchange transactions and ensure completion of it on a timely basis as per contractual obligations
  • Liaise with partner units for resolving Nostro or any other breaks
  • Participate in new product or system upgrade projects, including assist in workflow design or testing as required
  • Liaise daily with external and internal entities that are part of the transaction processing activity chain - such as the Dealers, Financial Control, Treasury Front Office, Credit, RMs, Risk management, CCIL, RBI
  • Required to master the complexities of many derivative products and gain a solid understanding of the business model and infrastructure
  • Identify trade discrepancies as well as mitigate the risks related to the trade life cycle
  • Develop and implement technology solutions for automation of existing manual reports and processes
  • Recommend process improvements methods and techniques to reduce cycle time and handle higher volumes with the existing resources as well as suggest & drive technology initiatives and implementation plans to build in process efficiency in operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and assist in regulatory and financial inspections and audits.
  • Liaise with customers for ad hoc settlement related queries and explaining the settlement process to them for derivative and FX product.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI regulations with respect to foreign currency transfer (cross border transactions).
  • Project management skills for liaison with multiple stakeholders to take systemic enhancements to closure


  • Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant /university degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
