Your opportunity

Our Revelstoke and Salmon Arm offices are looking for Senior Accountants to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities:

• In conjunction with and under the supervision of a Manager, you will be responsible for the completion of all aspects of the client engagement and the on-the-job training of other team members.
• Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements and tax returns according to Firm and regulatory standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises.
• Build effective working relationships with client contacts, and respond effectively to client requests and suggestions related to engagement.
• Identify process improvements for future assignments and share their knowledge and experience with other team members
• Completion of additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required

Your experience and education

• Have completed or be pursuant of a professional designation (CA & CMA, CGA or CPA)
• Three or more years of relevant work experience including at least 1 year of Canadian tax experience
• You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work, and
• You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
• This role will require the ability to work extra hours from time-to-time per business requirements
