Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Assistant Director - Evaluation and Assurance on a contract until June 2021, with potential extensions of 6 months.
Position Overview
Our Client requires candidates to lead a small team to deliver business process improvements within a regulatory setting, particularly in relation to improving quality assurance processes for statutory decision making.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:
- leading the preparation and implementation of plans and strategies relating to audit and quality assurance of procedures, policies and statutory decisions.
- leading consultation with staff and senior executive across the division.
- engaging with external consultants and central areas of the department.
- driving change management processes in the division.
- staff development, mentoring and performance evaluation.
- project planning and delivery.
- contributing to policy development and identifying opportunities for business process improvement.
- Baseline Clearance.
- Prior experience in audit and evaluation processes or any regulatory role.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
