Get on board this medium-size public practice which has been growing over the past few years. These partners are all about growth and development and have a good eye on taking care of their staff on a personal basis. Expanding their teams and improving their business moving forward they have created multiple options to come on board and develop and service new parts of the business including Bookkeeping services. With a team of approximately 6 people, you will be working alongside the tax managers and partners to deliver excellent service to the clients. The practice is providing Taxation, Accounting, Self-Managed Superannuation, and Business Advisory Services to a large network of clients. As a professional firm with diverse clients from medium size to large group entities, you will be exposed to a wide range of industries. The Position:
As a Bookkeeper you will be responsible for all bookkeeping services which is not limited to:
- Work with multiple clients
- All bookkeeping matters
- Assist with client accounting queries
- Manage your own workflow
- Training client's on how to conduct basic in house bookkeeping tasks
- Xero/MYOB Troubleshooting
- BAS/IAS preparation
- Implementation of Single Touch Payroll
For this role, experience in bookkeeping for small to medium-sized organizations is imperative. In addition, you should have:
- 3+ years experience in a Bookkeeper position within Professional services
- Strong knowledge of all components in bookkeeping
- Minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree
- Experience using Xero, MYOB is requisite
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Good work-life balance
