JOB DETAILS
Alexander Lloyd is supporting an established client that sits within the insurance space and that we have worked with for a number of years. We are excited to be supporting them through an exciting transformation in their FP&A department which includes the creation of a new role as an I.T Finance Business Partner to increase visibility across the I.T projects team and improve and develop reporting & controls.
You will be building processes and controls from scratch therefore it is imperative that you have strong demonstrable experience of doing so directly with an I.T department and projects team.
Offering work/life balance, lots of stakeholder engagement, opportunity to take ownership and put your stamp on this exciting position in the business. Salary ranging up to £90,000 plus benefits.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Establish and develop strong relationships with the I.T projects teams, CIO, COO, Senior Finance Stakeholders * Put in place controls and new reporting processes * Improve internal reporting and analysis * Challenge spend v budget * Keep track of IT project costs * Establish and provide a real business partnering service to the I.T team * Providing that link between Finance & I.T
The Person
* ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified Accountant * ESSENTIAL - Financial services industry sector * ESSENTIAL - demonstrable experience in a business partnering role to an I.T department with experience of managing projects costs, engaging with the CIO / Senior IT heads, developing controls * Self starter with a confident approach to take ownership * Excellent communication skills

Working hours 9-5.00 Monday to Friday
