Senior Client Accountant for a successful property management based in central London. This is a newly recreated position within there large finance team. This role has the promotional to supervise or manager.
Your new role
Key Duties
- Preparation and submission of Owner Statements, VAT Reports and other reports as required by the client
- Report to the Team Leader on a regular basis and keep them informed on relevant issues relating to the designated portfolio.
- Support the Team Leader in the performance of the team, offering advice and instruction to other members of the team where required.
- Responsible for the line management of a small team. Ability to work with and motivate people, handle team dynamics and ensure that all company line management requirements are met in good time.
- Ensure all monies received and expended on behalf of clients are accounted for correctly, in accordance with RICS regulations and current legislation.
- Ensure all transactions are reported to the client in accordance with their requirements and agreed timescales.
- Produce and reconcile monthly and quarterly reporting including trial balance, VAT reporting and Aged Debt.
- Update and monitor the property management accounting system, and any other databases, in accordance with instructions of the surveying team.
- Work with the Assistant Client Accountant to ensure there are no backlogs of work.
- Be familiar with RICS regulations, CIS, VAT & NRL requirements, and the internal procedures manual.
