Hays are pleased to be working with this Norwich based business to appoint a Financial Controller. You will be working for an established brand who have seen significant growth over the last 18 months.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will become instrumental in streamlining the accounting functions and operations, providing financial analysis and reports, educating and influencing on business finance issues as well as promoting regulatory compliance.
You will lead a small high performing team and key responsibilities will include;

Reporting to the Finance Director you will become instrumental in streamlining the accounting functions and operations, providing financial analysis and reports, educating and influencing on business finance issues as well as promoting regulatory compliance.
You will lead a small high performing team and key responsibilities will include;
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and associated reports
- Oversee production of Financial Accounts to audit standard
- Co-ordinate year end processes and liaise with the auditors during the audit.
- Weekly KPI reporting to the Operational Board and Senior Management Team.
- Identify control and efficiency improvement opportunities and implement changes as necessary
- Preparation of Tax computations (including Vat and Corporation Tax).
- Cashflow management.
- Manage the daily relationship with the company's bankers.
- Produce and report on variances across the business versus budget and forecasts.
- Ensure relevant management controls are in place and implement internal controls where required.
