Our client is a highly successful and fast growing manufacturing company. Privately owned with a long history they are seeking an experienced Finance Director to be part of the senior management team driving both the commercial and strategic vision of the business.
Your new role
The Finance Director will take full responsibility for managing a small finance team and all elements of accounts including statutory reporting, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and cash flow management. You will support all commercial decision making with appropriate analysis and negotiate directly with suppliers. The Finance Director will pro actively seek to add value with commercial over sight and have the ability to provide strategic perspective of the business and to evaluate different management options.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience of operating as Finance Director in small to medium sized businesses within the manufacturing sector. You will have an outstanding track record in influencing decision making within a business and improving performance with substantial positive profit impact. Excellent analytical skills are a must and you will be able to understand complex performance issues and advise and be able to prioritise action plans to resolve. Any experience of change or project management would be extremely beneficial.
