How will you make an impact?

The Finance Business Partner will help the SLT with key decision making that will drive significant growth for the Cambridge site.

What will you do?

The Finance Business Partner, Cambridge will report to the Viral Vector Services Director of Finance and will be a key member of the VVS finance team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Finance business partner to Sr Director/General Manager, MA operations based in Cambridge, MA and the Site Leadership Team
  • Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends and make recommendations to drive improvement
  • Manages site financial reporting, forecasting process, annual budget process
  • Contributes to Capex reporting and forecasting process
  • Partners with program management to track/forecast revenue objectives and billable milestone attainment
  • Contributor to month close and multiyear strategic plan
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and implement financial process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy of reporting, and achievement of business goals including program costing
  • Partner with Supply Chain lead and inventory control analyst to drive better visibility into inventory to improve facility execution and reduce risks related to E&O, inventory expiry and invalid inventory counts.
  • Improve pass through material forecasting process through better alignment with Procurement and GFE process with customers
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial to drive improvements in the SIOP process for the site including capacity analysis
  • Ad-hoc projects as necessary
How will you get here:

Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, MBA preferred
  • SAP, BI, and forecast consolidation tool knowledge is desired
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and GAAP


Experience
  • 4-6 Years of experience in Life Science/Biopharma industry preferred
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing organization a plus
