Our established and growing client seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Rockville, MD to oversee all processes and procedures related to the Accounts Payable function, including applicable account reconciliation and tax filings. You will manage vendor relations, invoice processing and workflow as well as all other disbursements and annual 1099s. You will be responsible for supervising one staff. As Supervisor, you will participate in the system migration to Deltek's cloud-based software and facilitate necessary training. Accounts Payable Supervisor Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience within a government contracting environment
- Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills
- Expert knowledge in preparing, issuing and filing 1099s in compliance with IRS regulations
- Advanced knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with supervising staff
