Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY- Accounts Payable Specialist
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for all aspects of vendor invoice processing and ultimately payment of the invoice.
  • Responsible for correct disposition of checks as well as scanning
  • Responsible for answering vendor phone calls in a professional, polite manner
  • Responsible for completing special tasks and inquiries upon request

Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE Desired
  • Multiple years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Hospital or healthcare experience a plus
  • Experience working in a large corporation or non- profit environment
  • Experience working as part of a large team


REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal Skills
  • General clerical skills
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and use of the computer
