Job Description
Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a local CPA firm in Arvada in search of an Accountant! The Accountant position is offering benefits, PTO, growth potential and is paying $50,000!
The Accountant will be responsible for doing the accounting for multiple clients. The duties include:
-Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
-Reconciling bank accounts, general ledger accounts and credit cards
-Posting journal entries and reclassifications of journal entries
-Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
-Sales & use tax filings
-Payroll tax filings
-Performing the month-end close duties
-Assisting with preparing the financial statements
-Preparing 1099s
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Accountant include:
-3+ years of accounting experience is required
-QuickBooks experience is required
-CPA firm, construction or real estate accounting experience is preferred
-Enjoys working with clients!
