Management Accountant

I am currently working with a well known manufacturing business who are recruiting for a Management Accountant.

Client Details

My client are a growing manufacturing business with sites based across England and Wales. They are seeking a management accountant who can run the finance function from their site based just outside of Ashford.

Description

The role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Analysing and commentary of monthly management accounts and investigation of variances.

• Management reporting on profitability, sales, stock and factory performance on a monthly and weekly basis.

• Producing and reporting on annual budgets for the business.

• Providing financial support to Commercial & Operational Management

• Reviewing Operational KPIs (including labour efficiency and material variances)

• Providing product costings for all existing/on-going products, and new products / tenders.

• Analysing and presenting CAPEX and OPEX applications.

• Identifying areas for cost savings.

• Learning the ERP system in order to help support the factory in continuous development.

• Assessing and updating overhead recovery rates.

• Assisting in the negotiation of operational contracts

• Creating and analysing ad-hoc reports to support Department Heads

Profile

• Qualified by exam/experience
• Several years manufacturing/FMCG experience
• Be resilient in nature
• Be able to work independently
