Credit Officer
Description
An Investment and Finance Company is seeking to identify a suitable candidate for a Credit and Collections Officer. Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for management of clients' receivables and approval of credit application as stipulated by the Company's policies.
Core Functions include but not limited to:
* Monitoring account receivables and reporting on customer accounts.
* Evaluating the credit worthiness of clients by using the company's guidelines.
* Reviewing completed finance contracts for completeness and accuracy.
* Reporting breach of policies in processing loan applications.
* Processing client related transactions on system.
* Making recommendation to improve the operational efficiency of the Credit Department.
Academic qualification or competencies:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration or related degree).
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Minimum of three (3) years working experience.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
* Experience in small business lending is preferred.
* Customer-centric with good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team oriented, and fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
