Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant £45,000 - £55,000 plus bonus plus Benefits, Uxbridge Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting for an EMEA Financial Accountant to join our client who are a rapidly growing and well-loved multinational FMCG. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to move into industry. As part of the UK and Benelux Financial Accounting Team. You will assume responsibility for US GAAP, statutory accounting, external tax and VAT reporting. External Audit support & VAT preparation & review. Technical accounting for Remuneration Recharges support and Process Alignments. Project work in set up of new revenue channels and licensing. You will be responsible for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements for Benelux and Netherland Holding companies. Prepare final balance sheet reconciliation and monthly package files identifying points for discussion and resolution. Prepare or review and approve journals ensuring the calculation is accurate and supporting documentation is of auditable quality. Review of all clearing, accrual & prepayment accounts to ensure that accounts used are regularly cleared. Be the point of contact for Financial Planning / Local Finance teams. Ensure reporting templates are in line with US GAAP and corporate policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the Statutory Accounts for Benelux and Netherland Holding companies. The Successful Financial Accountant will be a qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) Accountant ideally from a practice back ground who has experience of Auditing on or working in a medium to large sized US company. USGAAP AND IFRS experience is essential. Dutch or French language skills are beneficial but not essential. Salary £45000- £55,000 plus Benefits Location Uxbridge, Middlesex.
