ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT in RUSHDEN, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE - JO24073

Accountancy Elite are yet again partnered with a firm steeped in local history who due to continued growth are looking to recruit an assistant accountant.

This is a solid opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years accountancy practice experience who is AAT qualified at a minimum or is QBE through many years experience.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Preparing statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Individuals, Trusts and Charities.
Preparing monthly and quarterly bookkeeping files as required, this includes analysing manual records and reconciling control accounts.
Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
Preparing corporation tax computations and corporation tax returns.
Preparing personal tax computations and personal tax returns.
Liaising with H M Revenue & Customs and Companies House on behalf of clients.
Assisting with adhoc duties including general administrative tasks where required.

Candidate Attributes:

·AAT qualified as a minimum with QBE candidates having many years practice experience very welcomed.
·Good practical experience of accounts and tax work in a practice environment.
·Possess good IT & communication skills.
