Robert Walters have partnered with leading business based in Lancashire that is looking to recruit a Group Finance Manager due continued growth this role will work in an establish team and be will responsible for timely and accurate delivery of group financial reporting activities. This incorporates the management and statutory consolidation, board packs and quarterly investor reports.

This incorporates the management and statutory consolidation, board packs and quarterly investor reports.
Key responsibilities
Lead financial reporting
Assistance in continuous improvements in month end controls and readiness for SOX Compliance
Full consolidation of group financial statements, monthly.
Business partnering with Lead Management Accountants and FP&A Manager to ensure timely consolidation and accurate reporting.
Analysis and reporting of group P&L, cash flow & balance sheet.
Regularly reporting at top level. Internally to Director-level stakeholders. Eternally to shareholders, banks etc.
Continuously developing and improving controls, systems & processes across the group.
Partnering with tax advisors and internal development teams on matters relating to Tax accounting, R&D, group relief and transfer pricing.
Oversight of individual company financial statements / filing requirements.
Owning the year-end audit process, and the relationship with the auditors.
Oversight of corporate centre costs and holding companies.
Ensuring strict adherence to compliance and relevant legislation.
Ad-hoc project accounting where required.
Supervision of staff and acting as a senior mentor where required.
Essential
* ACA/ICAEW/ICAS Qualified
* Working knowledge of IFRS legislation.
* Working experience of group accounting and leading a group Audit.
* Capable of managing multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Ambitious & progression-minded - wanting to progress and grow with a business.
Desirable
* 'Big-4' Audit / Accountancy trained
* Sees themselves as a future leader of a high-performing team.
* Exposure to tax, tax accounting or partnering with tax advisors.
