SUMMARY

The Director, Global Financial Planning & Analysis is a leader within the Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team responsible for managing global reporting, performing financial analysis, and coordinating finance functions among both Global and Business Unit functions. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Global FP&A and is based in Boulder, Colorado.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Annual Budgeting process: Working with the executive team developing challenging financial goals, operating plans and insightful measurement systems. Includes modeling, presentation creation and timeline management.
  • Manages and coordinates monthly forecast process for rollup and consolidation from each business unit.
  • Provide interpretations and analysis of actual performance versus plan/forecast and assess the impact on future results.
  • Oversight of financial systems (PBCS, FCCS) and interfacing between finance and IT teams.
  • Partners closely with executive team to develop and drive initiatives, business planning, performance measurement / reporting, decision support, board reporting and strategic projects.
  • Enhances the Company's financial management processes and oversees global financial systems.
  • Build and lead a team of financial professionals providing appropriate mentorship and annual goals and metrics.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Team of Finance professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 7+ years experience with proven ability to lead and manage a department.


COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in creating solutions and improving processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in Excel and other MS office products.
  • The ability to collaborate with a multi-department team.
  • Experience in managing financial systems (PBCS, FCCS).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
