Head of Corporate Audit & Risk Advisory, APAC Hub

ROLE:As Head of APAC Hub, you will lead and develop the Corporate Audit & Risk Advisory functions in the region under the guidance of the Direction DVP based in HO Marseilles. You will report hierarchically to CMA CGM Asia Pacific Ltd CEO.You will be responsible for a team of auditors based in Singapore and Shanghai, and will manage organizational, strategic and added-value audits.You will also be responsible for all Risk Advisory activities and investigations on the APAC zone in coordination with the Corporate staff in charge of these activities based in HO in Marseilles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define the APAC Corporate Audit Plan for the year to come in coordination with CMA CGM Asia Pacific management, HO Corporate Audit and your colleagues in charge of EMEA and the Americas.
• Ensure the completion of the audit plan on the zone, organize the planning of missions, optimize the utilisation of resources, report and comment the main conclusions of the audits to CMA CGM Asia Pacific CEO, follow-up the implementation of the mitigation plans agreed with the auditees.
• Complete the "on-demand" assignments requested by CMA CGM Asia Pacific management in coordination with HO Corporate Audit.
• Assist HO Investigations department in the completion of APAC investigations requested by CMA CGM Asia Pacific or HO Marseilles.

• Manage the existing Enterprise Risk Management framework at APAC region level to minimise the risks related to business processes and organisation:
  • Monitor and periodically update the region's Top Risks and report them to the Group Risk Officer;
  • Periodically present the region's Risk Mapping to CMA CGM Asia Pacific CEO in coordination with the Group Risk Officer;
  • Perform and monitor micro-risk mappings for various APAC entities as defined with Group Risk Officer.
• Build and maintain collaborative working relationship with local, regional and corporate management teams.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• You must possess at least a Degree from a recognised university, with at least 10 to 15 years of working experience in internal audit. Prior experience working in Big 4 accounting firms is mandatory.
• You must have worked in an international environment.
• You must be able to speak and write English fluently. Ability to speak and write a second language is highly advantageous, as it will aid your work with other non-English speaking regions.
• You are willing to travel abroad for work: across Asia and Pacific up to 25% of your time and to HO Marseilles up to twice a year. Previous international exposure is a plus.
• You easily interact with and/or manage cross-functional teams of all seniority.
• You possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence and negotiate, with the ability to challenge at a senior level.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, are recognised for your reactivity, your rigour, your pedagogy, your analytical and synthetic skills, your written communication qualities, and your ability to secure team support for your projects.
• CIA Certification is a plus
• Knowledge of French language is a plus.
• Experience in the Shipping industry is a plus.
