Management Reporting
  • Prepare quarterly financial and business performance reports for Senior Management.
  • Perform analysis of financials versus various comparatives.
  • Monitoring, reporting and in-depth analysis of revenue and expenses, as well as key value drivers.
  • Support external reporting requirement.


Budget and Forecast
  • Manage Consumer Finance quarterly and long term forecasting and annual budgeting exercises.
  • Consolidate, analyse, review and present the annual budget/quarterly forecasts of Total Mobile Product. Assess reasonableness of financial assumptions and highlighting risk/issues.
  • Analyse key drivers supporting the Product P&L.
  • Liaise with Group Consolidation team on intercompany reconciliation, management adjustment and cost allocation issues.
  • Allocation-in - analyse cost allocation drivers and assess reasonableness.
  • Allocation-out - review and propose drivers to allocate common Mobile Product costs across the respective segments.


Product Costing
  • Determination of fully loaded cost and variable costs of various Mobile products offered by Singtel.
  • Annual review and computation, or more frequently as required.


Annual Mobile Business Case Review
  • Model the Singtel Mobile business case to ascertain return on investment and expected profitability.


Competitor Analyses
  • Analyse performance of Singtel's competitors.
  • Prepare quarterly benchmarking report for Senior Management and Board of Directors.


Month End Closing
  • Responsible for the opex books of Mobile Marketing unit.
  • Responsibilities include review and analysis of monthly P&L, budgeting and forecasting of unit's opex requirement.
  • Business partner to the unit.


Others
  • Drive and participate in systems enhancements and automation projects.
  • Support CEO office and CFO in ad-hoc projects.
  • Support analysis requirement of different stakeholders in the Group.
  • Any other duties and projects as assigned by Finance Director and CFO.


The Ideal Candidate should possess the following:
  • Degree in Accounting with relevant work experience, prior experience in Big 4 preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent financial analysis and modelling skills is a must.
  • Innovative problem solving skills for unstructured situational issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and timelines that may have conflicting demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required due to cross-functional nature of the role.
  • Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude. Able to deliver under challenging conditions and tight timeline.
  • Strong technical competency and understanding of relevant accounting standards.
  • IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous.
  • Adaptive to change and comfortable implementing change
