Business Analyst - Finance domain

Micron is looking for experienced Business Analyst - Finance domain, with a wide range of SAP knowledge and business acumen. Finance is crucial to upholding our global commitment to excellence, and it is directly responsible for crafting the company's future.Candidate will be involved in the planning, successful delivery, quality assurance of the delivered solutions against business requirements and ongoing support of SAP Finance solutions, collaborating with various IT and business partners, identify new process improvement opportunities with ongoing learning.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Facilitate communication between our Finance business teams, technical teams regarding daily operational, reporting ,business processes and translate the business requirements into functional specifications.
• Data consolidation across business teams from organizational systems/databases and validation for accuracy working with stake holders.
• Assist in preparation of monthly reports; including cash forecasts, sales analysis, billings analysis, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and supporting schedules, as needed.
• Assisting intesting processin order to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation or user's lack of experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Solid experience with SAP and non-SAP ERP systems with inclination on FI-GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Banking processes.
• Clear understanding on special ledgers, New GL, leading, non-leading ledgers and country specific tax requirements.
• Proven working experience (minimum 2 - 5 Years) as a data analyst or business data analyst, with exposure to Data analysis, Reporting and Automation of reports in finance domain.
• Preferably 5+ year's relevant experience with a MNC, captive units, in dealing with financial reporting space.
• 4-8 years of work experience with strong financial modeling and analysis skills with exposure on database (e.g. HANA, SQL server) is a plus.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge outcomes to get results.
• Knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik View is plus.
• Good to have experience in working on the Agile framework.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; and ability to work effectively as a member of a team of diverse individuals;

Education:

• B.E/B.Tech/Chartered Accountant / MBA/ ICWA - Finance with 4-8 years of relevant work experience.

• Good to have CFA level 2 certification.
