Our Central Operations team is looking for a Business Analyst to continuously evolve forecasting models, analyze historic results, and make business recommendations to senior management based on those analyses - all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. This will include working with the India Leadership team to develop, implement and manage the business processes, systems, reports, dashboards, ad-hoc analysis, and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.

The Business Analyst will act as a trusted advisor for India Central Operations Team, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop strategies, implement tools, simplify process and scale the business. Your insights will drive incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovate offerings in the AWS portfolio. You will drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers. This position also manages the administration and execution of the team's targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, compensation planning, territory planning, headcount, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the Business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.

The successful candidate must be able to roll-up his/her sleeves, and work directly with the models/data. He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. He/she will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for their customers to other internal parties. Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and Compensation will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a way that is clear and easy-to-understand.

This position is available in location in India, including Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in Finance, Operations, Business Development, or other related fields
• Work directly with the models/data
• Working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them
• 3+ years' experience in dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlickview or AWS QuickSight
• 3+ years advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc)
• Experience in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database
• Proven experience working with sales systems and tools such as CRM, variable compensation, and revenue forecasting and reporting
• Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong business-process design experience
• Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
• Experience leading the development of department strategy
• Deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks
• Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
• Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree
