The Data Governance Analyst provides support to the company for better implementation of policies, rules, standards and processes related to data usage, quality and security. Its main functions include:
- Build a global culture and understanding related to the pillars of Security, Quality, Metadata and Data Collection through:
- Guidelines issued by data governance and its partners;
- Its data governance policy (when it will be issued);
- To help build a service offering tailored to the needs of the company and influenced by data industry standards.
- Promote and facilitate training.
- Support players in the data community through the company's projects, initiatives and processes.
- Support the Chief Data Officer in the operationalization of the company's data-related strategy.
- Establishing and committing to a long-range course of action to accomplish operational objective after analyzing information and assumptions.
- Taking into consideration resources, constraints and organizational values.
- Include the operation, optimisation and documentation on complex situations.

- Your bachelor's degree in a data related field
- (A) 5 years as Business Analyse IT or Business with experience in one of these fields: Metadata - Architecture - Security - Data Collection - Data Quality or (B) 3 years as Data Analyst in Data Governance Team
- 3 years or more in using MS Office tools (Word, SharePoint, Team, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
- Bilingual (English and French - spoken and written)
- Have worked for a company that have implemented or participated to the implementation of a Data Governance program - an asset
- Have started continuous training in different areas of data governance (including tools, glossary, dictionary, classification, traceability, process, data flow, data model, KPI) - an asset
- Experience in Agile Mindset (Scrum or Kanban) - an asset
