As an FA reporting and working alongside the Chief Financial Officer, you will be the co-pilot to the CFO, working alongside each other and tackling all tasks financials. You will have direct responsibility for all of Canada, and contribute to the accounting entries for USA and the UK.
You will assemble, analyze and distribute the monthly financial packages and act as the global system expert. Furthermore, you will work and produce and bring to life the development of the budget, planning and other financial docs and reports.

THE PERSON THAT WILL SHINE IN THIS ROLE:
A CPA designated, highly astute and analytical problem solver who is very comfortable with systems and technologies. You will have worked with some major ERPs in the past and have strong technical acumen (n.b. you will be tested).
In this role you will perform many duties and your role will be varied and exciting every day.
- Asset vs liability analysis
- Variance and gross margin and product line analysis
- Inter-company royalties, commissions and fees
- Maintenance of asset records
- Financial Systems Data Monitoring and Maintenance
- Financial Statement preparation, G/L maintenance, month end procedures and closings for multiple entities and currencies
- Reconciliation of all inter-company accounts between all global entities
- Government statistical reporting
- Year-end processing
- Ensuring external audits are completed on time and assisting them with information and documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
ENVIRONMENT:

NB - They are an essential service and this position will be a FULL-TIME Office position at least for the first 3-6 months for training! If you are not comfortable still going into the office then this IS NOT the right position for you, right now!
FLEX Hours: 8-4.30 or 8.30-5 or 9-5.30 (After training and probationary period) maybe even possible to do 7-3.30

REQUIREMENTS:
- CPA Designation
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a financial environment
- Multi currency exposure (HIGHLY DESIRABLE)
- Manufacturing Experience (HIGHLY DESIRABLE)
- Technical and System savvy
- Must be a very strong and CONFIDENT communicator
- Strong ERP and MS Excel skills. Previous experience leading an ERP implementation is preferred
- Well-developed people skills; able to build trusting working relationships while demonstrating the outmost reliability and accuracy

- Salary up to $70-$75k p/a
- Up to $10K bonus (tiered - individual/team based)
