As our Internal Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, as well as providing valuable insight into the performance of the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for someone who is:
- A scorekeeper. Maintenance of the general ledger, reconciliation of account balances and preparation of supporting work papers.
- A commentator. Preparing daily cash management reports, periodic management reports and board packs, along with budgets and forecasts.
- A custodian. Reviewing and improving internal controls, ensuring all licensing requirements are met, and ensuring full compliance with FBT, GST, income tax and state taxes.
- A business partner. Managing the reduction of debtors, WIP and costs, and providing the financial analysis and insight for various projects and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL
- Experience in public practice (large or mid-tier environment)
- Qualified CA from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
- Taxation and management accounting experience.
