Your new company
You will be working in a widely respected industrial organisation on the heart of the Gold Coast. This organisation is experiencing a large period of growth and are currently implementing several projects to revolutionise their payroll practises. As such, they are seeking a confident and capable Payroll Manager with significant change management experience to join their team. This team is passionate about their partnerships with the community and value their employee experience.

Your new role
You will manage a large and diverse payroll delivery, taking responsibility for the full end to end payroll function. You will work 'hands on' in a large size team, reporting directly into a Corporate Services Manager. Whilst these new projects are delivered, you will be responsible for processing up to 1000+ manual time sheets, working across several different awards and agreements. It will be essential that in these times of change you are confident with strategic change management and can provide guidance and mentoring to other payroll team members around best practice.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 6 years end-to-end payroll experience for a large organisation consisting of more than 600 people
  • Minimum 3 years proven history of successful leadership when training or mentoring payroll employees
  • Payroll related change management/ project management experience
  • Significant experience managing and delivering end of financial year processes
  • Experience with a Payroll package such as Sage, ADP, Attache, Kronos, Micropay, Chris21, PayGlobal, etc is essential
