Skilled Tax Consultant
Do you hold a BCom Honours Tax degree with a minimum of 2 years tax experience in a corporate environment, and are you ready to dive into the intricacies of tax law and its application? If so, this role may be suitable for you.
This exciting opportunity is for a candidate who is comfortable under pressure, dynamic in their thinking and ready to take on new challenges. Responsibilities will include the following:
- Liaising with SARS on behalf of clients;
- Completion and submission of tax returns (i.e. ITR12, VAT201, IRP6);
- Attend to and advise clients on personal income tax queries;
- Completion and submission of tax clearance certificate applications;
- Tax research;
- Preparation and submission of objections, appeals and suspension of payments with SARS; and
- Registration and deregistration of individuals for income tax, and e-Filing.
