Responsibilities:
- Oversees all financial operations including reporting, reconciliation, accruals, payroll and expenses
- Handling full set of accounts and manage all aspects of daily accounting functions including reconciliation and ensuring proper maintenance of accounting records
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
- Providing and interpreting financial information.
- Presents the monthly financial review to the Management.
- Build strong relationships and communication with all cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, IT, etc.)
- Creating additional analyses and reports as requested by management.
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
- Conducting reviews, evaluations and monitoring of project costing.
- Champions process improvements to address pain points and support the company's growth.
- Develop effective financial and operational processes with cross-functional leaders to comply with external and internal regulations and audits.
- Stringent monitoring of the business process to ensure compliance with regulations
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, company secretary, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations and authorities.
- Ad hoc assignment from time to time as assigned by the management.
- Will have access to sensitive and confidential information and is expected to act with utmost discretion and integrity.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking and equivalent. g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA, MIA.
- Well verse with Accounting Standards and Malaysian Taxation Rules and requirements (including SST)
- At least 5 years working experience and involve in managerial and review role
- Candidate is require to manage a finance team of 5-10 accounts executive
- Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory requirements and development with hands-on management.
- Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analysis
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
