Systems Accountant - Oracle implementation

Systems Accountant - Oracle Implementation Job Our client is in the FMCG Sector with a presence nationwide. They are currently in process of upgrading their Oracle system and are looking to appoint a project /systems accountant to join the team. This is a contact role - initially 12 months in duration. Some travel will be required to stores nationwide - one day a week. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Project Manager, your role will be varied and will include the following: • Project managing the financial process mapping • Reconciliation process flow documentation • Documenting all aspects of the businesses reconciliation process • Legacy Reconciliation Project • Defining project scope • Project planning defining key timelines and milestones • Preparation and posting of all correction journals • Leading and organising internal workshops • Writing business specification documents • End to end process review • This role requires excellent analytical skills coupled with the ability to lead a project and interact with key stakeholders across the wider finance team Background: You should have a minimum of tow years Oracle Financials experience and ideally experience of working in a Systems Accountant role in Oracle. Mulit site FMCG sector experience would be highly advantageous. Excellent rates. You may be required to travel occasionally to the UK for training and corporate meeting.
