The Company

Our client is an ASX-listed service business who are developing and operating Australia's essential services networks. They have a blue-chip client base and pride themselves on providing a workplace where the best people come to do their best work. They need a Business Analyst to first assess and then reengineer several payroll functions and processes with an automated solution.

The Role

Reporting directly into the GM of Financial Services, you will engage a number of stakeholders in the business to investigate multiples payroll streams and processes to ultimately build a brief which will be taken to market for a new solution. You will then facilitate the implementation of the selected solution.
  • Map the 'as is' and 'to be' of the payroll streams and functions.
  • Facilitate workshops to build business requirements.
  • Engage an array of business stakeholders spread across the financial department.
  • Compile a brief to take to market for a new automated payroll solution.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the new solution.

• Break down technology solutions in order for non-technical stakeholders to understand.
  • Understand and define the change impacts throughout the organisation.


About You

You will be a Business Analyst who loves process mapping and has previously worked on payroll projects or similar. You will be a person who is able to communicate at all levels as well as simplifying technology solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Your experience and skills should include most, if not all:

• Experience with analysis of payroll processes are functions or similar.

• You have experience as a Business Analysis performing process mapping, running workshops, and gathering requirements.
  • An ability to translate business needs into technical and functional requirements.
  • Have extensive experience in mapping business processes, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops and performing gap analysis.
  • Experience working on system reengineering and implementation projects.
  • A hands-on, can-do approach and the willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Experience in engaging and managing both senior and external stakeholders.
  • Be solution driven and comfortable challenging processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
