Accounts Receivable Controller

Accounts Receivable Controller, with debt collection process and debtor's reconciliation experience, is required to join our clients' finance team.Responsibilities:

• Control debtor's account, and ensure adherence to the organisations terms of payment;
• Allocate all payments received on a daily basis, and process misallocations of payments;
• Liaising with customers for remittance advices;
• Query any outstanding balances;
• Monitor delivery of invoices to ensure invoices delivered according to standard operating procedure;
• Implement approved policies and procedures and monitor adherence;
• Conduct weekly analysis of debtors' accounts to ensure accounts are paid within agreed time frame;
• Process and monitor journals according to standard accounting practices;
• Monitor debtors outstanding against targets by comparing bank statements;
• Process monthly statement for remittance advices;
• Process month-end report according to agreed deadlines and balance revenue;
• Provide weekly / monthly report to Head of Accounts Receivable.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Accounting or BCom Degree in Commerce.
• 3 years' experience in debt collection and debt reconciliation.
• MS Word & MS Excel (Advanced).
• SAP Exposure beneficial.
