A CCTV operator operates and monitors CCTV cameras or any other surveillance equipment in the control center. The responsibilities include:
• Check security cameras, on multiple screens and monitors, and report illicit activities revealed by cameras / CCTV to Senior Manager, HSE for further action.
• Contact Police, other security officers, fire or ambulance services as quickly as possible in case of any incidents or suspicious behavior.
• Give clear and correct descriptions of people, vehicles and incidents to Security Officer/Police as required.
• Search through footage from a particular camera between certain dates or times to see if an incident has been caught on camera.
• Check the CCTV system and maintain a record of all incidents which have been recorded separately for investigatory purposes.
• Check control center on daily basis and report maintenance requirements to Senior Manager, HSE.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of all sensitive matters relating to the business in general and Security Department.
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
• Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.
• Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
