The company
Brewster Partners have partnered with a well established and successful manufacturing company based in Halifax. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join the finance team and take ownership of the Credit Control function.
The job
Working as part of a friendly finance team, this is a stand alone Credit Control role and you would have full control of the ledger. Reporting into the Financial Controller, your key duties of this role will include:
Liaising with customer regarding outstanding & overdue debts,
Investigating & resolving customer queries
Raising credit notes
Chasing & releasing any orders held in suspense
Preparing the accounts for legal action
Reconciling sales invoices
Allocation of payments
Statement ReconciliationsThe person
Solid experience within Credit Control
Excellent communication skills
Able to work on your own initiative
Excellent organisational skills
