After having an excellent year, our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. Based in Clitheroe, this company has seen a great increase in profits and are looking for someone who can join the team and help support the FC on a day to day basis.
Duties of the role include:
The candidates must have at least 3 years relevant experience and have a good understanding of a finance department including purchase ledger, sales ledger and treasury. You will be methodical, a problem solver and be a good communicator.
In return the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, pension, 24 days holidays (raising to 27 days holidays) plus bank holidays, Medicash cash plan and an attendance bonus.

Duties of the role include:
- Assisting with month end duties including balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings etc
- Accruals and prepayments
- Full responsibility for the weekly and monthly payment runs
- Daily bank reconciliations
- VAT processing and submission
- Fixed asset processing
- Any other ad hoc duties required in the finance team
