Finance Manager

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager for a bio science company based in Harpenden.

Client Details

Established almost 15 years ago, the company has seen considerable growth with customers in over twenty countries.

Reporting in to the Global Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

Description

• Running the monthly financial and management reporting processes
• Month-end ledger close for UK and US entities, posting journals
• Consolidation of Group monthly management accounts
• Preparation of month-end management pack
• Assisting with preparation of year-end statutory accounts
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and analysis for senior management

Additional duties will include:

• Supporting the Financial Controller with year-end reporting and audit
• Overseeing the day to day transactional accounting - accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Overseeing the preparation of payment runs and bank payments
• Supporting the wider finance team as and where necessary

Profile

The successful applicant will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant with post qualified experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in a month-end reporting role with production of management accounts packs
• Planning, analysis and business partnering experience
• Sound Excel skills
• Working knowledge of using SAGE or other similar accounting packages

Job Offer

£50,000 per annum
