FP&A Analyst

An exciting role has arisen for a forward thinking, strategic FP&A Analyst who has the ability to absorb and analyse data to provide valuable insight in support of business decision making.

Client Details

The business unit is comprised of several companies which have been acquired and currently being integrated, therefore supporting the FP&A transformation process to consolidate the several systems and processes is a key part of this role.

Description

Day to day duties will include:

Support the Senior Finance Manager - FP&A within the key finance areas:

• Monthly management reporting
• Quarterly forecasts
• Annual budgets
• Submission of 5 year Strategic Plan
• Tracking of business transformation initiatives
• Defines financial situation by completing quantitative analysis
• Evaluates optional plans by identifying outcomes and potential returns
• Values assets by appraising current condition; assessing potential
• Builds financial database by identifying sources of information; assembling, verifying, and backing up data for month end analysis
• Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organisation goals
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analysing, and explaining information

Profile

The successful applicant will:

• Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a thorough understanding of financial processes and systems
• Have previous FP&A Analysis experience
• Have a strong commercial mind with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Have the ability to provide depth and understanding to the financials
• Be confident in liaising/interacting with senior stakeholders
• Have a hands-on approach
