Financial Controller

For an international company situated in Zaventem, with a headquarter in the Netherlands, I am looking for a Financial Controller. What will you be doing on a daily basis? * You will be charged with verifying invoices regarding pricing, taxability, general ledger accounts and cost centres; * Manage the reporting on VAT & Intrastat, and other yearly Belgium forms; * Prepare bookings for the general ledger in SAP; * Prepare the monthly and yearly closings up to and including the local annual reporting * Reporting, forecasting & budgeting alongside both local and international management; * Analyse results - such as financials, sales, marketing,… - to report to management; * Review yearly budgets to improve profits; * Participate in key projects for your assigned business unit. What kind of person are we looking for? * You have a master's degree in a financial field or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience; * You have 2-3 years of prior experience, ideally in an international structure; * Besides Dutch and English, you also have a good level of French; * Someone who is reliable, hard working with a problem-solving mindset.
