An opportunity exists for an Intermediate/Senior accountant who is looking to join a supportive, friendly team within a picturesque community focused town on the South Gippsland coast. This local firm has experienced exceptional growth over the past 2 years due to their personable and professional service and as a result, there is a need to expand their team with another key member.
Your new role
This Intermediate or Senior accounting role will see you undertake a variety of duties for a range of clients including preparing financial statements and BAS returns, assisting with auditing, completing tax returns for individual, trust, companies and partnerships. You will also support the Senior Accountants when required, liaise with the ATO, Centrelink and other external stakeholders aswell as manage your own portfolio of clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 2 years Australian experience within an Accounting firm or auditing experience and ideally you will have completed or be currently completing your CA or CPA qualification and looking to work for a small reputable firm who value loyalty, honesty and hard work at the core of what they do. Located in the rural South Gipplsand region, our client really needs someone who lives local to the area and who enjoys the peace and quiet that comes with living in a small country town.
