Your new company
Our client is a central unit which delivers high quality integrity-related functions in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Assessments and Feedback services for the Department of Social Services

Your new role
Duties include:
  • Records inspection, assurance and verification, primarily for Disability Employment Services (DES)
  • Freedom of Information (FOI) request coordination, where the Department is seeking documents from DES providers
  • Assessments for the National Panel of Assessors (NPA)
  • Complaints for all Client Agency programs
  • Tip-off investigations, primarily for Disability Employment Services

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:
  • Personal attributes that contribute positively and effectively to a team environment
  • Ability to conduct assessments and determine eligibility for payments or services in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural frameworks
  • Ability to research and analyse complex information, identify issues, escalate risks and develop solutions, including the ability to critically examine and evaluate information and data in making sound assessments and evidence-based decisions and recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintain key stakeholder relationships, contribute to the preparation of a variety of correspondence, and develop and maintain reports
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, ESSWeb and the ability to use, or quickly learn to use, a range of corporate information technology systems and databases to interrogate, extract and record information and data
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload, produce high quality work, meet deadlines and persist with resolution of repetitious queries .
