Bookkeeper experienced in Xero - top 50 firm

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper familiar with Xero to work for a top 50 accountancy practice based near Epsom.

Client Details

The client is a top 50 accountancy practice based around Epsom, Surrey.

Description

Key tasks:

Performing Bank reconciliations within Xero.

Preparation of VAT returns (on Xero).

Uploading information onto ReceiptBank/Expensify.

Checking coding of client uploads prior to entry in Xero.

Processing transactions on a daily basis.

Processing payroll and other month-end/year-end journals.

Raising data queries with the Account Managers.

Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and draft emails.

Be first point of contact for client data related queries.

Get involved in on-boarding new clients. Helping to define and refine our new processes in this relatively new service offering.

Profile

Candidate:

Have a proven bookkeeping track record.

Be computer literate.

Be able to work effectively in a team.

Have the confidence to engage with partners, clients and staff.

Have the desire to always produce work of the highest quality.

Demonstrate an excellent customer service ethic.

Ideally have experience using Xero and some of its add-on partners' offerings (e.g. ReceiptBank, Expensify)Be keen to develop processes and initiate change to drive efficiency.

Job Offer

Salary around £30,000 per annum.
